9/11 Information Page

On September 11, 2001, 19 al-Qaeda terrorists hijacked 4 different planes and crashed them. The first 2 crashed into each of the two Twin Towers in New York City.

The third crashed into The Pentagon in Virginia, and a fourth was intended to crash into the Capitol in D.C., but, upon passengers trying to stop the terrorists, was deliberately crashed randomly into the ground, in an empty field in Pennsylvania. In the end, 2,977 people were murdered, along with the 19 terrorists.
